How to join the Motor Club:
If you want to compete on any Basingstoke Motor Club event, you will need to be a member of either BMC, or a member of one of the clubs on the invited list for that specific event (See event SRs). Invited clubs vary from event to event, but as a member of BMC you will be eligible for all BMC activity. Members will also be able to compete on other club events, where BMC is an invited club. We are proud to say that that applies to virtually every event in our region.
As a member of BMC you will receive regular news updates via emailed bulletins, and don't forget the regular banter on the clubs Facebook group page.
Also, as from 1st January 2020, you will require at minimum, a MotorSport UK 'RS Clubmans' Competition License. These licenses are issued free of charge on application to Motors Sport UK, by following this link:
Basingstoke Motor Club is affiliated to Motorsport UK (Previously the Motor Sports Association, or MSA) which is the governing body responsible for Motorsport in this country. As a club member you will have the security and benefits offered by MSUK's umbrella covers and protocols.
We recommend that you join the club as soon as you have the notion, and that you apply for your RS Clubman license immediately. You can do both here. Click the link above for your license, and at the bottom of this page, which will open the Membership application form. Please print it, fill it in and post it with the appropriate fee to:
David Morgan, 8 Haynes Close, Swindon. SN3 6DZ . David will send you your membership card(s) promptly.
Although we want you to start your Motorsport journey with us, you cannot enter anything without a clubcard, so we say 'don't delay, do it today'.
Download Club Membership form from HERE. Print it, fill it in and post it with the correct fee to 'The Membership Secretary, David Morgan, 8 Haynes Close, Swindon, SN3 6DZ'
